We got to go to Savannah GA for an anesthesia conference. We stayed on the riverfront and were able to see the historic district. We also got to be there for our anniversary on the 12th. Nothing like a romantic carriage ride with your two kids. It was a great city to see. We also got to eat some southern cooking at Paula Dean's restaurant The Lady and Son's. The kids enjoyed the hotel and walking along the riverfront. We also had fun going to Tybee Island, about 25 minutes outside of Savannah, for some fun in the sand.

You ate at the Holy Grail of southern restaurants??? Right on!! Would you believe I've lived in GA my whole life and have never visited Savannah?
